Open Computer LabsIf you do not have have a computer at home or in your dorm room, you should locate a lab on campus that is open for general student use during the free study times you have on your schedule. The computer labs here at Iowa State are fairly inconsistent in the quality of their hardware and the types of software they have installed on them. Help is on the way, but until it arrives, here's what you need to do. The Durham Computing Center maintains a list of open computer labs on campus, complete with type of machines, installed software, and any general peripherals, such as scanners and printers. To locate a lab in which you can do your HTML work this semester, you need to locate a lab from this list that is open during your free hours. If you should have any problems locating a lab during your free hours, please let me know, and we'll try to find you a place to work.
